These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Snap a Meal application (“App,” “Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using Snap a Meal, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The Service is provided free of charge and supported by advertisements.

3. No Account Registration Required

• Snap a Meal does not require you to create an account.
• We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to provide functionality.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your device.
• Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may result in loss of saved content.

4. User Content

4.1 Uploaded Images

You retain ownership of images you upload. By uploading images, you grant Snap a Meal a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process the images solely for:

• Food analysis
• Recipe generation
• Nutritional estimation

We do not sell or reuse your images for marketing or advertising.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the app
• Interfere with the app’s functionality or security
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.

6. AI Limitations and Accuracy

Snap a Meal uses artificial intelligence to generate content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete
• Nutritional values are estimates, not guarantees
• Results may vary based on image quality and food complexity

7. Health Disclaimer

Snap a Meal is not a medical or dietary service.

• Information is provided for educational purposes only.
• We do not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice.
• You should consult a qualified professional before making dietary changes.
• Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Advertisements

Snap a Meal displays advertisements via Google AdSense.

• Ads may be personalized based on user activity.
• Third-party advertisers may use cookies or similar technologies.
• You may opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices.

We are not responsible for third-party ad content.

9. Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, logos, and software (excluding user-uploaded content) are owned by Snap a Meal or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if:

• These Terms are violated
• The app is discontinued
• Required by law or platform policy
